Day 1: Transfer to Budongo Forest- Kaniyo pabidi (4 hours drive)
Early morning pick up from Kampala or Entebbe, drive to Budongo Forest (Kaniyo-Pabidi) which forms part of Murchison Falls national park. The forest is about 240km from Kampala and 5km off the main road of Masindi to Paraa. Upon your arrival at Pabidi, have lunch at any lodge/restaurant of your choice as you prepare to go for Chimpanzee tracking for 3hrs. The forest habits about 120 Chimpanzees including other primate species like black and white colobus monkey, the red – tailed monkey, blue monkey, vervet monkey and baboons, also birdlife with variety of tree species, butterflies, moths and tropical flowers.
