This remarkable 14-day journey combines the ultimate African adventure—tracking mountain gorillas in Uganda, witnessing world-class wildlife in Tanzania’s iconic parks, and unwinding on the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar. Carefully designed for adventure seekers and nature lovers, the tour balances thrilling game drives, cultural encounters, and moments of pure relaxation.

Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe International Airport

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or take a short stroll around the leafy neighborhood.

Day 2: Entebbe – Lake Mburo National Park (Approx. 4 hrs drive)

After breakfast, begin your journey southwest with a stop at the Equator in Masaka for photos and cultural shopping. Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Mburo amidst pods of hippos, basking crocodiles, and waterbirds such as fish eagles and kingfishers. Later, enjoy an adventurous sunset mountain biking safari, spotting zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands, buffalo, and oribis as the sun dips behind the acacia woodlands.

Day 3: Lake Mburo – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Approx. 5 hrs drive)

This morning, set off on a unique horseback safari, an unforgettable way to explore Lake Mburo’s rolling savannah. The absence of engine noise allows close encounters with wildlife—zebras curiously approach, elands linger nearby, and if lucky, even leopards may be spotted. After lunch, continue your journey through Uganda’s scenic highlands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the endangered mountain gorilla.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Equipped with packed lunch and hiking gear, set out with rangers into the dense rainforest. Trekking can take 2–6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family, but the reward is an awe-inspiring hour in the company of these gentle giants—one of the most moving wildlife encounters on earth. In the afternoon, visit a local village for a community walk, experiencing traditional life, local crafts, and farming practices. This is also a way of directly supporting the communities living around Bwindi.

Day 5: Fly Bwindi – Entebbe – Arusha (Tanzania)

After breakfast, transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your morning flight (09:45) to Entebbe, arriving at 11:25. Connect with your afternoon flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Upon arrival, our Tanzanian representative will welcome you and transfer you to your lodge set amidst the tranquil coffee plantations on the outskirts of Arusha. Enjoy a pre-safari briefing and relax.

Day 6: Arusha – Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Approx. 3 hrs drive)

Depart after breakfast for the Ngorongoro Highlands via the villages of Mto wa Mbu and Karatu. Arrive at your lodge for lunch with the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Optional activities such as horse riding are available.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Today, descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. The crater floor teems with wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, cheetahs, hyenas, and countless antelopes. Picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the crater before ascending back to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 8: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park (Flight)

After breakfast, transfer to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Serengeti, arriving mid-morning. Your guide will transfer you to your lodge with game viewing en route. After lunch, embark on your first Serengeti game drive, exploring the endless plains in search of the Big Five.

Day 9: Full Day in Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring Serengeti, famous for its vast savannahs and rich wildlife. Game drives can be customized—either early morning and late afternoon, or a full-day safari with picnic lunch. The park is home to the annual Great Migration, predators like cheetahs and lions, and diverse birdlife.
Optional: Experience a breathtaking hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti at sunrise (must be booked in advance).

Day 10: Serengeti – Zanzibar (Flight)

Enjoy a final morning game drive before transferring to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar via Arusha. Arrive in the afternoon and transfer to your beachfront resort. Relax as the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean welcome you to paradise.

Days 11–13: Zanzibar Beach Stay

Spend three full days at leisure on Zanzibar’s pristine beaches. Relax under palm trees, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or indulge in optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, spice plantation tours, or Stone Town excursions. Evenings can be enjoyed with oceanfront dinners and traditional Swahili hospitality.

Day 14: Departure – Zanzibar International Airport

After breakfast, check out by 10:00 and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight.
