Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International airport
Arrive at Entebbe International airport, meet and greet assistance. You will be warmly welcomed by Luxland Africa Vacations representative outside customs and Immigration hall then you will be transferred to your hotel. Tour briefing will be done at the hotel lobby over a welcome drink.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park (6 hours drive)
Drive to Kibale National Park. It is a habitat for more than 1,500 chimpanzees and other 12 species of primate. The park has the great counts of primates on the continent of Africa and it is known worldwide as the primate capital of the world. Kibale National Park has great numbers of habituated chimpanzees which has made it famous for the chimpanzee tracking experience in Uganda. The evening will be spent on a crater walk including the top of the world visit. It offers a beautiful view of the craters lakes while at this point and surrounding areas. It is also good point for photography. You will also study and learn the lifestyle of the local people while walking on this path. All in all, the top of the world hike combines scenic views with culture and tradition of the local communities.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Habituation in Kibale National Park
Today’s excursion begins after a briefing at Kanyanchu trailhead; you will spend the half day with Chimpanzees following them around. The activity starts at 8.00 am in the morning. A half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora.

Day 4: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Later after breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is known for its endangered animal species called “the Mountain Gorilla” and it is UNESCO site because of its international ecological importance. This route will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park. If you’re lucky, you will see some wild animals on the way to Bwindi.

Day 5: Gorilla Habituation Experience
Early morning transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before you enter into the gorilla sanctuary of Bwindi Forest. The rainforest is spectacular as it offers a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. The Gorilla habituation experience follows one of the families that are in the process of being accustomed to tourist visits. You will be a maximum of 4 tourists that will spend up to 4 hours with the magical gorillas. You will be accompanied by a team of rangers and researchers who are in the process of ensuring that the gorilla family is made relatively used to tourist visits both for their safety as well as to reduce their shyness.

Day 6: Flight to Entebbe International Airport – Sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria
Breakfast at the lodge then the guide will lead you to the nearby Kihihi airstrip departing at 0910 So that you can take your local flight from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park departing at 0910 arriving 1125 at Entebbe airport. It takes 2 hours on air and it is best journey on the pearl of Africa as you experience the aerial view of the lush vegetation, lakes, rivers and the local homestead in Uganda. Upon arrival, you will be picked by our driver who will lead you to your hotel then later in the evening proceed to Banga beach for your sunset boat cruise on the local bays and shoreline of Lake Victoria for 1.5 hours including snacks and drinks on board. The some hard drink and soft drinks. The sunset boat cruise starts @ 5.00pm until 6:30pm with possible extension to 7:00pm depending on how the sun is setting off.
