Day 1: Arrival at Kigali Airport and transfer to the hotel

Day 2: Kigali city tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park (2.5 hours drive)
After your morning breakfast, you will be driven around the city with a visit to Genocide Memorial Museum which was started in 2004 and it is the resting place for over 25,000 Rwandese, continue with a visit to Inema Arts and Kimironko Local Market. Later after lunch, you will be driven to Volcanoes National Park which is well known for its rare Mountain Gorillas with the beautiful views of the mountain ranges. Day 3: Gorilla trekking at Volcanoes National Park
Wake up with a cup of coffee in the lodge then head to the park headquarters for your Gorilla trek briefing. The gorilla permit will be verified and your passport details recorded. Enter into the Forest for half or whole day to search for the rare Mountain Gorillas depending on where they slept the previous day. Volcanoes National Park has rich ecosystem ranging from evergreen, bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath. Above all it protects the steep slopes of these mountain ranges which are favorable for the stay of the rare Mountain Gorillas. Upon meeting the friendly rare Mountain Gorillas, you are assigned to 1-hour interaction with them. Watch them doing their daily life activity, feeding, playing, resting and training their young ones. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Day 4: Gorilla trekking and Cultural Experience
This is your second gorilla trekking encounter; you will be taken for briefing at the park headquarters then later escorted into the Forest to search for the rare Mountain Gorillas, the silverback mans the family and you will watch the rest of the Gorillas individuals playing, resting, coupling and training the young one. Later return at your lodge for lunch and the afternoon will be spent on the village walk to see their daily lifestyle and activities which include cultivating, basket weaving, local bee keeping, curving, and butter churning with dancing. Day 5: Volcanoes National Park – Kigali city (2.5 hours drive)
After breakfast, relax at the lodge and later you will be driven back to Kigali to catch up with your flight back home. If time allows do some shopping in Kigali city as you wait for your flight time.
